Bob Turner - (piano)
Bob started his career on accordion but in recent years has switched to piano which has put him in even more demand. He can be heard regularly with, Brian McAlpine (acc) in I.C.C.Scotland and has worked with fiddler Bruce MacGregor and with Pete Clark in the Neil Gow Ensemble. Bob works with Gavin marwick writing music for films and gifts. See their site at

James Gray
Born into a family actively involved in the local Scottish Country Dance scene, James Gray grew up surrounded by a love of Scottish music and culture. He started piano lessons at the age of five, initially being taught by his grandmother, who played for his parents' dance classes.
During the last 15 years, he has played as a solo musician at dance schools in the US, Europe and New Zealand, and was the director of the first RSCDS youth school. His new CD "Piano Dance" is available from His website wjgray.co.uk

Morag MacAskill
Morag, from Milngavie, has been playing with Scotland's top fiddlers for over 25 years,and has also recorded with the likes of Alistair McCulloch and Douglas Lawrence to name just two. We met back in the late 70's and she accompanied me in many of my successful competitions, She also recorded with me many moons ago, on the Inverness Fiddlers society LP - a lovely lady and a great friend.
